Tax Accounts cum Payroll Senior Executive / Assistant Manager (Contract) - Location: Kota Kinabalu, Sabah



  • Handle local and expatriate staffs payroll and allowances claim
  • Statutory compliance and deduction (EPF, PIT, SOCSO and EIS)
  • Expatriates (Japanese, Korea, Singaporean, Filipino, etc) income tax and submission
  • Staff attendance (time sheet) and leave administration
  • Expatriate welfare and benefits
  • Recruitment, training and coaching
  • Office insurance & tenancy agreement
  • Expatriate apartment and tenancy
  • Prepare annual tax returns for Expatriates
  • Monitor and administer routine tax compliance requirements (e.g. monthly tax deduction (MTD), tax estimates, revision of taxes, reply IRB queries and etc)
  • Assist and manage tax registration, tax audit and investigation from IRB
  • Perform any other tax related assignments given by the management
  • Conduct research and consult with team members on various personal income tax matters
  • Work closely and liaise with various government agencies (e.g. Inland Revenue Board and other government agencies)
  • Responsible for administering payroll from updating the employee’s data to computation of entitlements including expatriates benefits like VOLA and BIK.
  • Responsible for maintaining payroll information correctly and to prepare for EA Form, Form BE (resident tax), Form M (non resident tax) and Form E (Employer’s) in terms of checking and finalizing the date by liaising team members, management and IRB.
  • Maintenance of tax payable / tax refund / tax exemption / personal records for all Expatriates
  • Process tax leaver CP21 and travel in/out records for all Expatriates according to IRB requirement




  • Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, any field
  • At least 5 years proven track record in a wide spectrum of handling Expatriates’ personal income tax administration functions is desired. Preferably those who currently working with oil & gas industry.
  • Ability to work independently with multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously
  • Good command of English and Bahasa Melayu (both written and spoken).
  • Computer literate and familiar with standard Microsoft Office application, especially Microsoft Excel.
  • Possess good communication skill and positive teamwork
  • Applicants should be Malaysian citizens and preferred Sabahan
