A six-member delegation from JGC Corporation (JGC) and JGC Malaysia (JMSB) led by Mr.Koichi Kawana, president and representative director of JGC Corporation, paid a courtesy visit recently to the newly appointed Sarawak Chief Minister Tan Sri Datuk Amar Adenan Satem to brief and provide him an overview of JGC Group's business operations and its current business activities in Sarawak for the past 35 years.
JGC and JMSB have been involved in the construction of MLNG's liquefied natural gas (LNG) plants as well as the construction of Shell Malaysia's Shell Middle Distillate Synthesis's (SMDS) gas-to-liquid (GTL) plant in Bintulu, Sarawak. Currently, both companies are working on Petroliam Nasional Bhd (Petronas) Train 9 project on the construction of the 9th train to the existing Petronas LNG Complex in Bintulu.
